• Something Of A Positive Boon

  Well when you guys think engagement rings, mostly you might be having an image of a crusty piece of glittering stuff sitting luxuriantly amidst a beautifully crafted platinum or gold ring that comes with burning a HUGE hole in your pocket than anything else. When you are so in love and so desperately want to woo her then it doesn’t matter the heavy price it comes with. But then investing in a gorgeous piece pf jewelry and owning a several pieces of semi-precious trinkets is altogether another thing. You need not worry about price when you care about style. So when going for engagement rings both my sister and me were lucky enough to let our fiancés choose 22carat gold simple stuff. Just chaste and pretty and a simple but strong symbol of what we were looking for on our relationships. We both gave our would-be husbands the same thing with their names embossed. The rest of the money which we could have spent on going for a platinum or such razzle-dazzle glittering diamond stuff, were used for buying practical stuff for our homes. Makes a lot of sense, innit? Well, we thought so. And both me and my sister are willing to tell everyone we know that it is better to stick to good old fashioned when it comes to engagement rings. When the relationship goes beyond and you guys are both matured financially as well as responsibility-wise then you can celebrate your 5^th or 6^th anniversary or whatever it comes to your fancy, with the most gaudy and expensive luxury you wish to have your partner or both of you indulged in.

  This means that your relationship is much more stable and rock-solid than what a rock might suggest it to be. So be there and experience the real thing. If you can afford it and are willing to splurge on your engagement ring then no worries and probably you don’t need to read this. But most people on a day-to-day basis wear a ring that is not too flashy and goes well with their work suit or formals or whatever. So if you hold the sentiment that your fiancé or spouse wears the ring of your love everyday, get it done simply without any splurge. That is the most practical reason I can vouch for a ring of this kind! Also contrary to popular beliefs that men are less responsible than women, a recent statistics show that women in fact lose their engagement rings and things like that more than men do! So naturally enough you don’t need to worry over a ring if its not too pricey, you can easily replace that!
